A Governing Council comprising nine leading Indian Businessmen, supported by an Advisory Council comprising Japanese and Indian Businessmen.

Open to Corporate Houses – Big, Medium & Small, Chambers of Commerce, Promotional agencies of Governments and Educational institutions.

Activities :
Japanese language teaching - Promotion of art and culture – Indian and Japanese; Bilateral business facilitation and business promotion.

The Government of India Ministry of Finance has been pleased to exempt donations to IJCCI from within the country under Section 80-g of the Income Tax Act 1961 as a public charitable trust.

The Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs has granted permission to IJCCI to receive foreign contributions under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 for strengthening the activities of the Chamber.

The Government of Japan has been pleased to sanction a one-time grant under the Grassroot Project Scheme to run a Vocational Training School for students of weaker sections of society.
IJCCI enjoys the goodwill and support of over 100 corporate houses, Indian and Japanese, in the building of the Chamber into a vibrant all-India organization.
